scrappy quilt

This huge scrappy quilt is made using the bow tie block,although it does look like a snowball block because of her colour placement. The size is 100"x 100". A very nice quilt made using scraps she had on hand and quilted with a feathery e2e.

Post and rail

Here is another lovely quilt by Vicki in greens this time using batik prints and the post and rail block. Iused a swirly e2e on this one and loved the results.

Applique Quilt

I keep getting these amazing quilts to finish off for my customers. This applique quilt is all hand appliqued AND hand pieced.customer wanted an E2E design and it worked out very well.

Joy of Life.

Thisw georgous quilt is called Joy of Life. and doesn't it give you that feeling? My customer wanted custom quilting with freehand hearts and loops in the background and outline around the applique.She also requested a feather border. I did some quilting on the applique to hold down the large areas and give dimension to the flowers.

Vicki's favourite colours are greens as is seen in this nice knee rug sized quilt. I really loved this block design and I quilted it with a nice swirly e2e. Another great result Vicki.

It feels like spring

My customer has made some very clever use of fussy cutting to make her focus blocks in this quilt. I finished this off with an E2E of wild roses. I really like how it looks fresh and spring like.

stitchery quilt

My customer just wanted an E2E on this cute stitchery quilt.Because it had a real home y and country feel I used a simple hearts and loops design. I just wanted to pick it up and put it over my knee and curl up and watch the telly.

fat quarter quilt

This blue and white fat quarter quilt looks really fresh and nice.I quilted it with an all over design. The quilt can be made in a class at Quilters Bazaar, and is proving very popular as it is quick and easy. Every quilt that I have seen,and also made looks completely different. It is amazing what a difference fabric selection can make.
