Square in a square.

Today I am showing another quilt by a lovely lady called Margaret. this one has been quitled with an e2e design. I have just been told that Margaret has donated another 17 quilts to the bushfire and flood releif programme. What a wonderful effort from one kind hearted gentlewoman.

Kaliedescope Quilt

My customer had some left over blocks from an earlier kaliedescope quilt and made a smaller one up. It is still big enough for a single bed. And very nice. Customer requested an e2e so I used sweet design by Anne Bright called " Carnation Carnival" It looks great.

Anchors Away

Here is a cute stack and slash quilt made especially for a young teenage boy who loves the sea. I quilted it with anchors and my customer said it was just perfect. I hope he thought so too. it was

Tumbling Blocks

Iris has made this nice tumbling blocks quilt and we quilted it with a new all over design by Anne Bright called gentleness. Love the design.

Nursery rhyme quilt

This is a really nice nursery rhyme quilt. The customer has made use of a reproduction panell of all different nursery rhymes. I quilted it with an all over of hey diddle diddle. Worked out well. I am sorry I don't know how to turn the photo around.

log cabins in the sun

Hi. This quilt is huge 98 x 108" from memory. It looks stunning.Some of the fabric has chillies on it so I placed a border of chillies around the outside. The central log cabins are quilted with an all over design ,but you will think it is custom to look at it. The design is called Mexican Sun. It is half suns in a row so I flipped every second row to make whole suns.I know I keep saying this but It does look fantastic.What do you think?

Grandmothers Flower Garden

I hsve just finished quilting this lovely Grandmothers Flower Garden quilt for my customer. It has been quilted the same as in the book provided. I think it looks very nice. the fabric choices were terrific and I love the quilt.
