Country Mouse

Kim Diamond from "Sweet Dreams Quilt Studio" designed this cute quilting design for me for just this type of quilt. The design is called "Country Mouse" and has a doormouse,a squirrell, and a rabbit standing in clothes. It is sooo cute. I will be able to use this design quite a bit.

1930'0 nine patch

today I have some photos of a quilt made with 1930's fabrics I custom quilted the white blocks with a block design called double heart block by Joanne Knott of " Its a Quilt Thing". the 9 patches have point to point curves and the borders were a feather design. I loved the way the quilting worked on this .I hope you like it too.

Monkey Business

Robby has only been quilting for about 12 months now and she continues to amaze me with her design choices. This is a quilt made for her middle aged friend who just loves monkeys .I love it. I quilted it with an all over design called monkey faces. Very appropriate. Another lovely quilt if a little bit cheeky Robby.LOL.

I have had a run on e2e quilts lately but have a few custom quilts coming up. Here is the first of them. I have quilted this quilt several times before. Each customer wants it quilted the same as the others, which means I know wht I am going to do and cn just get into it. I do enjoy custom work occasionlly. I hope you enjoy seeing another one of these quilts, made from a kit brought from Quilters Bazaar Gisborne.

Starry,Starry,Night.

The yellow in this quilt really makes the stars pop. I think it would be really good in a larger size for a boys bed. It has been quilted in an overall swirly design to give the stars movement

Cute

This is another quilt made by a first timer. This time it has rustic applique on some of the blocks. I believe it is for her 12 year old granddaughter. I just know the little girl will love it. I have quilted it with an e2e design of butterflies and flowers.
