Hi Gari, The answer is yes. You cut (in this case) 5 repeats ot the fabric into strips and tack together with the pattern exactly stacked on top of each other. then get a template for the fan blade and cut through all 5 layers of fabric without them moving on you. You can get about 18 fans from fabric that is 42"wide. Then you have your fan blades. The method is called Stack - wack so glad you are enjoying my blog Wilma.
