Footy anyone?

MyFor all the overseas visitors to my blog I would like to say hello and welcome. This quilt represents one of our Australian Rules Football Clubs called Hawthorne. The Hawks for short. My customers husband is a sign writer and drew up he central applique. It is very realistic Her son will just love this quilt for sure. I did an all over design of footballs and what looks like flames but I trimmed out the centre medallion and outline quilted the hawks head and did sunray lines behind as a background fill. As a Collingwood supporter I have to say this quilt is very ,very nice.

This back view is of my next quilt it is stars and horseshoes.

memory quilt

This is a truely beautiful memory quilt made by a mother for her daughter. The photo's in each block are of her beloved father who passed away with cancer I used an edge 2 edge feather meander for this quilt and trimmed around each photo.
