1930's daisy quilt

Today I have another hand pieced and appliqued quilt by Esmae. This time using 1930's fabrics. It is a lovely fresh looking quilt that reminds me of spring. I Trimmed out the applique, outlined around them to make them pop, and used a double line background fill. I used a Kim Diamond feather in the white border and an Anne bright flower border on the piano key border. I know I say it all the time but I really like this quilt.

Wow, that quilting is amazing. The back of the quilt is a whole extra quilt. Thirties fabrics make the sweetest scrap quilts. I've only just discovered them and love the effect that is so easily achieved.
