I Spy with my little eye.

This fantastic and very colourful eye spy quilt has a photo of the recipient right in the middle of it. I quilted this with an all over design of animals and trimmed out the photo so no stitches went over the image. Each group within a square has a theme, for example, jungle ,farm animals, sea creatures. It is another very nice quilt made by Gill.

babys first quilt.

Another sweet baby quilt made by Cheryl. This one has sail boats on it. I quilted it with an all over design by Kim Diamond. When the baby came it was a girl so Cheryl had to go make another quilt. Aww gee!!

Fran made this great little crib quilt with appliqued cars, rucks and assorted automobiles for a new little grandson. I quilted this with an all over design of trucks and tow trucks etc. Fran was pleased with it.

Happy 21st birhday Anna

I made this quilt for my neice Anna for her 21st birthday last month. The fabrics were purchased from Quilters Bazaar. I used a block pattern from Anne Bright for the centre blocks .In the black stop border is also a design by Anne bright .The outer border of peacock feathers has a wonderful feather border by Cathy Olsen called curls and swirls. Here it is on Anna's bed. I think she was happy with it. I absolutely loved the way it turned out.

I started a Dear jane quilt last year and have completed one get that 1 block. I was beaten. Just look at Lorraines Dear Jane.it is beautiful and I was privileged to quilt it. Loz wanted an all over design and we chose Clam Shells. I was hesitant to do an all over design but we were both very pleased with the results. What do you think?

Same,same but different.

Sisters sent me 2 beautiful tops for me to finish for them. Each quilt was the same design but had different fabric and thread choices. The first treasure I quilted a feather border with a scrolly treatment in the sashings, I used point to point curve in the 2"blocks on both quilts. I used a radiating ray line design in the stitcheries on this first quilt. and a leafy scroll in the sashings. Both quilts looked fabulous when finished

This customer requested cross hatch over the embroidery blocks. I used the same frame for each sash but different border treatment.

This is a lovely modern looking quilt made from fat 1/4's . I have quilted this pattern quilt several times now and each one looks different. The fabric choices make a huge difference. This one would be perfect for a teenage girl.

This sweet little quilt is made with a panel in the centre and extra borders added. I quilted this with an all over design of flowers and dragonflies. A quick and easy quilt for a young child
